The Flow

How It Works

1 · Pick a Bracket

Browse open brackets on the tournaments page. Filter by game, entry fee, and division to find one that fits.

2 · Pay Entry

Your entry fee is locked in on-chain escrow the moment you join. No charge until both players are in — and refunded automatically if the bracket cancels.

3 · Bracket Fills

Every bracket has a set time and runs the day after it fills — 7 PM ET for 8 & 16-player, 10 PM ET for 4-player. We'll notify you as soon as the date is locked.

4 · Know the Format

Rounds run an hour apart. 4-player: 2 rounds back-to-back — 10 PM & 11 PM ET. 8-player: 3 rounds back-to-back — 7 PM, 8 PM & 9 PM ET. 16-player: 2 rounds a night on 2 straight nights — 7 PM & 8 PM ET each night — so a 16-player bracket takes two evenings, not one.

5 · Win Your Round

Single elimination. Beat your opponent, submit proof, and advance. Lose, and you're out — winnings stay in escrow for the survivors.

6 · Take the Crown

Win the final and your prize releases to your wallet automatically. Climb the leaderboard and earn trophies.

The Prize

Where the Money Goes

Prize Pool Distribution

Every player's entry fee gets pooled. TrenPlay takes a flat 7% rake to run the platform — the rest goes to the top finishers.

4-player bracket: 1st: 70% · 2nd: 30% of the prize pool (minus the 7% platform fee — 0% for members)
8-player bracket: 1st: 70% · 2nd: 30% of the prize pool (minus the 7% platform fee — 0% for members)
16-player bracket: 1st: 70% · 2nd: 30% of the prize pool (minus the 7% platform fee — 0% for members)

Example — 16-player $50 bracket

Pool: $800. The pot splits 70/30, then the 7% fee comes off each share.
1st: $520.80 · 2nd: $223.20 · TrenPlay fee: $56.

Edge Cases

No-Shows & Disputes

Opponent Didn't Show

If your opponent doesn't respond within the round timer, you can claim a no-show. Upload your proof (screenshots showing you tried to join the match) and an admin reviews within 24–48 hours (up to 72). If approved, you advance.

Disputed Result

If both players submit conflicting results, the round is escalated. An admin reviews chat logs and uploaded proof from both sides and makes a binding decision. Filing false disputes earns penalties.
